Speaking to the media, the Acting Director of the Bauchi State Fire Service, Builder Dauda Bala pali, said they received a distressed call shortly after the incident and rushed to the scene.
Builder Dauda Pali explained that on arrival to the scene without the required equipments for the mission but immediately rush to the engineers constructing Wunti fly over to borrow the equipments and swang into action.
The acting Director urged engineers not to compromise any building standard to prevent future reoccurrence.
