The District Head of Kubi in Ganjuwa local government area of Bauchi State, Alhaji Suleiman Sale, has commended the efforts of Soro Agro Allied Company Limited for supporting farmers through the provision of affordable agricultural inputs and modern farming services.
Alhaji Suleiman Sale gave the commendation during a visit to the company’s headquarters located at Kofar Nasarawa in Bauchi metropolis.
He said the visit was aimed at strengthening cooperation between the traditional institution and the company in order to improve agricultural activities and encourage farmers to adopt modern farming techniques.
He explained that the company has been playing a vital role in assisting farmers by providing fertilizers, improved seeds, pesticides, and advisory services, as well as helping them to obtain farming licences through collaboration with relevant agencies, including the Federal Ministry of Agriculture.
The District Head called on farmers and the public to take advantage of the opportunities being provided by the Soro Agro allied company towards improved productivity and increased profits from farming activities.
According to him, many farmers are searching for lasting solutions to challenges affecting agricultural production, adding that the services offered by the company would help address such challenges.
Earlier, the Managing Director of the company, Alhaji Umar Abdullahi Soro, appreciated the district head for the visit and reaffirmed the company’s commitment to promoting agricultural development in the state.
He stated that the company remains committed to supplying quality fertilizers, improved seeds, and pesticides at affordable prices, while also providing guidance and technical support to farmers to ensure improved harvests and successful farming activities.
As part of the visit, the district head toured the company’s facilities where he inspected stores containing fertilizers, pesticides, and different varieties of improved seeds.
