Member, representing Gamawa Federal Constituency of Bauchi State in the House of Representatives, Adamu Ibrahim Gamawa, has distributed medical equipment and supplies worth millions of naira to primary healthcare centres across the Constituency.
The lawmaker in a post on his official Facebook handle, said the initiative seeks to strengthen healthcare delivery by providing centres with essential tools and resources required for daily medical operations and improved service delivery.
Adamu Gamawa explained that the intervention is designed to bridge infrastructure gaps in the constituency, ensuring residents enjoy better access to reliable healthcare facilities.
He emphasised that improving primary healthcare delivery remains a priority to him, stressing that adequate medical supplies were essential in reducing disease burden and improving community health care delivery.
Adamu Gamawa who expressed appreciation to his team for ensuring successful delivery and distribution, described their commitment as crucial in achieving the healthcare strengthening programme across the constituency.
He therefore reassured the constituents of his continued dedication to improving their health conditions, and promised pursue more people-centred interventions aimed at transforming healthcare, infrastructure, and social welfare in Gamawa.
