Government at all levels and school management have been urged to ban the practice of singing out celebration by graduating students at all levels,which often generate into unethical and anti-social act.

 

The Director National Orientation Agency NOA Bauchi Alhaji Muhammad Nasiru Mahe made the call in a Globe fm phone in program IYA RUWA on the five thematic areas.

 

Alhaji Nasiru Mahe noted that some students after graduation indulge in behaviours contrary to societal values stressed out that such actions undermine national ethics and cultural Orientation.

 

He said the agency has engaged in series of activities such as Town Hall meetings,press conference,road show and visitation to religious and traditional leaders on the need to sensitize people on the dangers of such actions as well as importance of National Value reorientation.

 

The NOA Director said the agency has intensity efforts in enlightenment of Nigerians on the need to be security conscious and report any suspicious activities to the security agencies saying that security agencies alone cannot fight insecurity.

 

He there for enjoined Nigerians to uphold the national value reorientation in order to have a better society and call on students to avail themselves the opportunity to benefit from the NELFUND .

 

Callers on the program Murtala Sani and Abdilullahi Adamu who commended NOA’s efforts and urged intensified youth enlightenment by encouraging them to embrace value reorientation and be responsible role model in the society.
