The Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), North-East Zone has successfully conducted the written examination for the 2026 Staff Promotion Exercise, where sixty one eligible staff participated in the exercise.

The written examination was held at the Engineering Hall of the Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic, Bauchi, while the oral interviews for officers on Grade Levels 12 and 13 took effect immediately at Radio Nigeria Globe FM, Bauchi.

Radio Nigeria, Globe FM Bauchi reports that the exercise was conducted in a peaceful and transparent atmosphere, in tandem with the Corporation’s guidelines for staff promotion.
The promotion exercise is aimed at assessing eligible officers for career advancement based on merit, competence and the provisions of the Public Service Rules and the Corporation’s Conditions of Service.

The exercise was supervised by the Promotion Examination Committee, chaired by Zonal Director, Abuja Operations, Auwal Maman, while Deputy Director of Administration, Abuja Operations, Helen Obadiah served as the Committee Secretary.
Other members of the committee include: Director of Procurement, Buhari Iro; Director of ICT, Alhaja Wasilat Salami; Acting Director of News, Folashade Orimolade; Deputy Director of Marketing, Kaduna Zonal Station, Mansur Mohammed; Deputy Director of Marketing, Ibadan Zonal Station, Adewale Afinjuomo.
Speaking , the chairman of the promotion exercise Auwal Maman, described the conduct of both written examination and oral interview as successful reaffirming the corporation’s commitment to transparent, fair and merit-based promotion process that promotes professionalism, efficiency and excellence in service delivery.
