In a bid to strengthen security operations in Alkaleri Local Government Area of Bauchi State, the Chairman of the Local Government, Garba Hassan Bajama, has donated one Hilux vehicle and eight motorcycles to forestry security agents in Duguri community.

Presenting the operational vehicles at the palace of the District Head of Duguri, Governor Bala Mohammed said the gesture would complement his administration’s commitment to safeguarding lives and property in Alkaleri Local Government Area and across the state.
The Governor commended the Council Chairman for the initiative and announced that the state government would provide the necessary resources for maintenance and improvement of the vehicles to ensure their effective use.
Governor Mohammed further charged the hunters and forestry security agents to reciprocate the gesture by intensifying efforts in combating crime and criminal activities within the area.
Receiving the vehicles on behalf of the agency, the State Commander of the Forestry and Hunters Security Agency, Umaru Shayi, expressed appreciation for the support, noting that the donation would go a long way in enhancing their operational capacity.
He assured the government and the people of Bauchi State that the vehicles would be used strictly for the purposes they were provided and pledged the agency’s continued commitment to maintaining peace and security in the state.
