The newly posted General Manager of Radio Nigeria Globe FM Bauchi, Mallam Alkasim Bala, has pledged to digitise the station to meet global broadcasting standards in the prevailing digital era.

Speaking on the live participatory programme Iya Ruwa, Mallam Bala explained that technological advancement has become a permanent feature of modern society, hence the urgent need for the station to embrace it.

The General Manager further assured listeners of his commitment to introduce innovative programmes that would directly impact audiences and serve as platforms for educating and enlightening the general public.

He appealed to well-meaning individuals, particularly politicians from Bauchi State, to support the solarisation of the station to overcome the persistent challenge of epileptic electricity supply affecting smooth operations.

Mallam Alkasim also solicited continued cooperation and dedication from members of staff to enable him discharge his responsibilities effectively and reposition the station to a competitive broadcasting platform.

Some callers into the programme commended the new General Manager for his determination to transform the media organisation and offered prayers for his success in carrying out the challenging responsibility.
