The Emir of Lere in Tafawabalewa Local Government Area of Bauchi State, Alhaji Nuru Adamu Jumba has reminded Village and Hamlet Heads in the Emirate of the laws prohibiting cutting down trees, illegal mining as well as accommodating unknown strangers.
He gave the reminder while turburning the first District Head of Feyarr, Professor Amshon Musa Maisamari in his Palace at Lere.


Alhaji Nuru Adamu Jumba frowned at some traditional rulers who are of the habit of collecting bribe to harbour unknown strangers and illegal miners in their areas warned that any one found violating the law would be sanctioned.
He explained that the State Government considered it necessary to enforce the law on illegal mining being the primary source of crime and the in some parts of the country, hence the need to take precautionary measures.
The Emir charged them to be security conscious by reporting any suspicious move to the appropriate authority for prompt action.


Alhaji Nuru Adamu Jumba called on the new District Head of Feyarr to be just and carry every body for the progress of the District, the Emirate and Bauchi State as a whole.
He used the avenue to advise people of the area to live in peace with one another irrespective of their differences and respect for the constituted authority.
Alhaji Nuru Adamu Jumba enjoined the youth not to allow them selves to be used as agents of destruction by selfish individuals especially during political campaigns.
Also speaking, the Chairman, Tafawabalewa Local Government, Alhaji Sama’ila Wakili who commended the Emirate and the Bauchi State Governor, Bala Muhammed for turburning of Professor Maisamari as the District Head of Feyarr urged the celebrant to justify the confidence reposed in him by sharing his wealth of experience to bear.
Sama’ila Wakili announced plan by the State Government to hasten the construction of Palaces for the newly constituted Emirates and Districts across the State
with a view to strengthening traditional institutions who are the custodian of culture and grassroot mobilizers.
In their separate goodwill messages, the Chairman, Bauchi Fertiliser Company, Barrister Kefas Magaji, Special Adviser to the Bauchi State Governor on Entrepreneurship and Technical Skills, Barrister Yalems and the District Head of Fursun in Plateau State applauded the effort of the Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Muhammed for creating additional Emirates and Districts in the State noting that the move would have a positive impact on various communities.
