The Nigeria Immigration Service has decorated it’s 80 newly promoted officers and Men of the Command in a Ceremony held in Bauchi.
Speaking at the event the State Comptroller Abubakar Umar Aliyu Said the Promotion is in recognition of Merit, displine and loyalty to duty.
Comptroller Abubakar Aliyu Said 80 Officers has been promoted from the Command that include one officer from Comptroller Cadre, 62 Superintendent Cadre and 17 Officers from Inspectorate Cadre.
He Said the Career Progression demonstrate the Service Commitment to rewarding hardwork and Professional excellence.
The Bauchi State Comptroller NIS Charge the Promoted Officers to redouble their efforts and up hold the Image and Values of the Service.
Comptroller Abubakar Aliyu Use the Medium to Commend the Minister of Interior Dr Olubunmi Tunji Ojo and the Comptroller General, Nigeria Immigration Service Kemi Nanna Nandap for their visionary leadership and commitment to officers and Men’s welfare for effective service delivery.
He Urge the newly promoted officers to Justify the confidence repose in them through loyalty to service and unwavering commitment to national Security.
The State Comptroller assured officers who are yet to be promoted to remain committed to their assigned responsibilities as merit would always be rewarded.
In his remarks Engr Muhammad Magaji Ibrahim Dan Malikin Hardawa Congratulates the newly Promoted Officers and urged to maintain the tempo.
In their separate remarks repsentative of Nigeria Correctional Service, Nigeria Security and Civil Depence Corps, Federal Fire Service, NAFDAC, Family Members of the Promoted Officers among others witness the Ceremony.
Speaking on behalf of the newly promoted officers Yusuf Abdullahi Hardawa Chief Superintendent Nigeria Immigration Service Commended the Service for finding them worthy to be promoted and assured their Commitment to the discharge of their responsibilities.
Highlights of the event was the presentation of award to Yusuf Abdullahi Hardawa as the Best Performing Officer of the Command.
