The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has insisted that the 2027 general election will be determined by the present condition of Nigerians which it says is characterised by hunger, deprivation and insecurity.

The National Publicity Secretary of the party, Mr. Debo Ologunagba stated this while interacting with newsmen in Abuja on recent developments in the Party.

Mr. Ologunagba said the bye elections conducted last Saturday in which the party won only one seat should not be used to judge the performance of the party in the next general election.

The PDP National Publicity Secretary said the party was focused on its forthcoming national convention slated for November in Oyo State where it would emerge stronger for the next election.

According to Mr. Ologunagba, the PDP is following due process in all activities aimed at repositioning the party.
