The General Manager Radio Nigeria Globe FM Bauchi Malam Alkasim Bala has charged Young Female Journalists to avail themselves all available resources to make themselves productive and become professional practitioners.

Malam Alkasim Bala who made the call while receiving a Non-governmental Organization, Young Female Professionals in Media Bauchi chapter YFPM in his office, advised them to focus on journalistic activities particularly in the newsroom to become effective in news writing and special reports.

He further charged them to be good ambassadors of the media industry by dressing properly in both official and personal engagements.

Earlier, the Secretary of the YFPM Hajara Shu’aibu Dankama said the aim of the visit was to intimate the General Manager about their effort to train female journalists on mentorship and advocacy to understand the rudiments of journalism as it relates to the contemporary media industry.

She said the organization which currently has its headquarters in Kano was founded by Maryam Usman Nagado and assured commitment to extend their activities to other parts of the country.

Also Speaking, the Assistant Secretary YFPM Khadija Salihu thanked Radio Nigeria Globe FM Bauchi for its consistency in providing a platform to young female journalists to learn the practical aspects of journalism.
