Gyara Halin ka, a Bauchi State Societal Reorientation program has vowed to address the increasing Societal vices across the state through collaborative efforts with security agencies, community leaders and other stakeholders.
The Special Adviser to the Bauchi State Governor on Societal Reorientation, Retired Air Commodore Tijjani Baba Gamawa gave the indication when he visited Bauchi Township Divisional Police Headquarters, as a follow-up to a hunious crime of dumping a just born baby in a latrine and one suspected Sara Suka who staved an old man, all in the state capital.
Retired Air Commodore Tijjani Gamawa who expressed worry the situation said his office is working hand in hand with other stakeholders to sensitize people on the need to join forces towards reducing the rate of crime in the society.
He commended Officers and men of the Division for their doggetness and charged them not to relent in that direction.
Earlier, the Enforcement Unit of the Societal Reorientation has inspected Durum market to access the level of traffic compliance by motorists during market days.
Answering questions from newsmen after the inspection visit, the Special Assistant to the Bauchi State Governor on Societal Reorientation, Tijjani Gamawa acknowledged an improvement on traffic flow at the market, noting that the fit achieved was as a result of consultations and sensitisation on dangers road blockage during market days.
