The Bauchi State Government has presented official vehicles to fourteen newly appointed emirs and one hundred and fourteen district heads to enhance grassroots mobilization and strengthen community engagement in governance.
The state Governor Bala Mohammed who made presentation at Government House Bauchi, explained that the initiative was aimed at improving mobility, expand outreach, and help traditional rulers perform their duties effectively across their domains.

Bala Mohammed said the sustained operational support would be extended to both long established and newly created emirates, chiefdoms, and districts to ensure inclusive administration aligned with the state’s broader development objectives.
He stressed that collaboration with traditional rulers is to promoting peace, stability, and prosperity, urging them to uphold integrity, shun partisan politics, and avoid unnecessary travel in carrying out duties.
In a remark, the Commissioner for Local Government Chieftaincy Affairs, Isa Babayo Tilde assured the Ministry’s readiness to work in synergy with the traditional institutions in view of their critical role in maintaining peace and social mobilization.
Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, the Emir of Bauchi Alhaji Rilwanu Suleiman Adamu, commended the Governor for the gesture and assured of the proper utilisation of the vehicles.

Our correspondent reports that the vehicles distributed include forteen GMC saloon cars, eighteen seater Toyota buses, and Hilux as well as one hundred and forteen toyota camry to distrct heads.
