A Non-governmental Organisation, Community Health Unity and Progressive Initiative (CHUPI) has advocated strong media partnership in promoting community health, environmental sustainability, and public awareness across Bauchi State.

CHUPI is a Community-based organisation working to improve the well-being of communities through advocacy, health education, and sustainable development initiatives.

Speaking during an advocacy visit to Globe FM Bauchi, the Executive Director of CHUPI, Comrade Samson Chongfilawas, emphasised the need for the media partnership to reach more people and achieve lasting impact.

Samson expressed optimism that the collaboration will in reaching out to communities especially those in dire need, to get the needed support and attention.

Also speaking, a member of the Group, Daniel Princess highlighted the organisation’s ongoing programmes and emphasized the crucial role of the media in educating the public, mobilising community participation, and supporting development-focused initiatives.

Responding, the General Manager Globe FM Bauchi, Mallam Alkasim Bala, commended CHUPI for its commitment to community development and reaffirmed readiness to promote activities that align with its mandate of informing, educating, and entertaining the public.

He added that the station remains committed to using its platforms to amplify initiatives that positively impact the society.

The two organisations expressed optimism that the partnership would strengthen public awareness campaigns, contribute to improved health outcomes and sustainable community development across Bauchi State.
