Governorship aspirants and key stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bauchi State have unanimously endorsed President Bola Tinubu’s candidacy for the 2027 presidential election, pledging to deliver one million votes.

Speaking at the event, the North-East Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Initiative, Malam Isa Yuguda, said the President has brought a lot of developmental initiatives to the country, particularly in economic recovery, security funding, and foreign relations.
Malam &sa Yuguda noted that the administration is making efforts to restore peace, especially in the North, through increased funding for the military and other security agencies, and urged continued support for the President.
“President tinubu is doing a lot to bring peace especially to the north with the huge money given to the Military and other security agencies. The President gave us two ministers from the state and so we should give him our maximum support because we are preparing to empower 1 thousand people at every political Ward under the Renewed Hope Initiative which I am the Coordinator in the Northeast sub region”, Isa Yuguda reveals.
He noted that Bauchi State has benefited from key appointments, including two ministerial slots, stressing that the Renewed Hope Initiative of the President plans to empower one thousand people in each political ward across the Northeast sub region which he Coordinates.
Yuguda who is the Northeast Coordinator Renewed Hope Initiative, and Chairman of the National Open University of Nigeria, said the state stands to gain more from the current administration, hence the need to support the President’s re-election to sustain ongoing policies and programmes.
On his part, the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Professor Muhammad Ali Pate, appreciated the people of the state for their support, noting that the Bauchi APC remains united and committed to the President’s second-term bid.
“On behalf of all of us, I also want to mention that President tinubu is worthy of our appreciation from Bauchi State for the amazing development he has brought to the state in the last three years in many sectors of the economy, in Agriculture, Social protection, education, health, even in security he’s doing a lot to make this state safe. I will ask that do you people here agree that we should put our maximum support to President Bola Tinubu in 2027 with a minimum of 1 million votes”, Pate says.
He highlighted several federal government interventions in the state, including the upgrade of the Federal Medical Centre, Azare, to a teaching hospital, establishment of FMC Misau, revitalisation of over one hundred primary healthcare centres, and the employment over two thousand indigenes under the Federal government.
Also speaking, former Governor of Bauchi State, Muhammad Abdullahi Abubakar, SAN, expressed support for the endorsement, saying continuity would ensure consolidation of achievements recorded across various sectors.
“With respect to the motion moved by the Minister of Health, I Muhammad Abdullahi Abubakar former Governor of Bauchi State hereby support the motion that the entire population of Bauchi State in 2027 must support His Excellence Bola Tinubu. I am an advocate of continuity, because that will enable him to consolidate on the gains being recorded”, the SAN endorses.
Other Aspirants and stakeholders, including Ambassador Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, Senator Shehu Buba Umar, Dr Maijama’a Bala Wunti, and Nura Manu Soro, also backed the endorsement ahead of the 2027 election.
In a related development, Chairman of the Upper Benue River Basin Development Authority, Alhaji Sanusi Baban Takko, said the federal government has approved the allocation of thousands of hectares of farmland in Adamawa and Taraba States to boost agricultural production.
Meanwhile, the governorship aspirants reaffirmed their commitment to unity, agreeing to support whoever emerges as the party’s candidate in the state.
