The Bauchi State Contributory Pension Commission has paid gratuity benefits to Civil Servants who retired in December 2011 and January 2012.
Speaking at the disbursement of cheques to the benefiting pensioners, the Executive Secretary of the Commission Ibrahim Inuwa said the state government is committed in settling the outstanding gratuity of it’s retirees.
Alhaji Ibrahim Inuwa emphasis that the exercise would be continues untill all the retirees receive their entitlement.
He said the beneficiaries are Civil Servants who work the 20 local government areas of the state and appeal to the beneficiaries to cooperate with the commission for seamless exercise.
” We are going to ensure due diligence in the process and also addition to that we will ensure that all the verified beneficiaries get their benefits as at when due”
The Executive Secretary Secretary use the medium to commend governor Bala Muhammad for given him all the needed support toward the execution of the exercise.
Earlier the Permanente Secretary Bauchi State Contributory Pension commission Alhaji Abubakar Amadu Maidala said the Commission has made complete payment to the benefiting retirees.
” The gratuity issues has been lingering for almost more than a decade, but Iam happy to say that the payment as at today has been one of the great thing not only to the pensioners but to us who are working under the pension commission and I am sure the money will go along way in uplifting their social status”
Alhaji Abubakar Amadu Maidala further said the Commission will soon commence payment of pensioners who retired in February, 2012.
He charge the retirees to judiciously utilize the Money through investment for their continues benefits.
” Every Pensioners including those who retired recently will get their entitlement looking at the strategies being persuade by the State government”
Speaking some of the beneficiaries Yunusa Gambo Gadau and Ali Bello Gar express their happiness for receiving their benefits, after years of waiting.
