Bauchi gov’t name township road after late Alkali Aminu.

In a move to immortalize the memory of late Alkali Aminu, The Bauchi state government has named the new constructed township road linking Gombe road to Bakaro as late Alkali Aminu Street in recognition of his service to communities and the state as whole.

The late elder statesman Alkali Aminu borned from the family of Alkali ibrahim who is the grant son of reknowned islamic scholar Malam Kasim during his time as a sharia law expart uphold fairness, truth and the equal application of the law to all people regardless of wealth, status, tribe or religion.

The General Manager, State Physical Planing and Development Control Boad, Town planner Ibrahim Muhammad discloced this when he led the Boad Management to formally presented the letter of immortalizing to the Family of late reknowned islamic Scholer, Malam Kasim following the aproval of the state Governor Bala Muhammad.

Town planner Ibrahim Muhammad who described the late AlkaliAminu as a natinalist and a man comitted to the societal progress called on future generatuon to emulate.

The latter of recognition was received by the most elderly family member, Baba Shehu.

Responding on behalf of the family, Barden Kudun Bauchi, Dr. Hayatu Mustapha expressed gratitude to the Bauchi state government for immortalizing the name of one of the family member.

The event has in attendance tradional leaders, government officials, family members among others.
