Muslims youth have been admonished to redefine their thinking towards restoring the lost glory of the legacy put in place by the country’s founding fathers, like Malam Sa’adu Zungur on education ,farming, and agriculture.
The Executive Secretary Nigerian Education Research and Development Commission NERDC Professor Salisu Shehu made the call during a lecture for youth on the importance of education and agriculture organized by Masjid Aminul Ummah Juma’at Mosque Sabon layi in Bauchi metropolis .
Professor Salisu Shehu who said most people have neglected all the structures put in place by the founding fathers, noting that the development has contributed to the problems facing the country.
He therefore urged Muslims to have a rethink to change their attitude in order to build their future on education and agriculture.
In his lecture, the Chairman, Zakkat committee, Gombe State, Dr Abdullahi Lamido explained that the Glorious Quran encourages Muslims to be enterprenuers for socio economic development of the society.
A lecturer with Gombe state University, Kashere, Dr Hamza Abubakar Hissaini and Dr. Rabiu Bala of the Bauchi State University, Gadau urged Muslims to engage in useful ventures to be self reliant.
