Nigerian youth have been urged to embrace integrity, tolerance and respect for constituted authority to strengthen national development and promote a peaceful and prosperous country for all citizens.
Executive Director of the Youth Ambassadors of Integrity, Hajiya Bilkisu Abubakar Sambo, made the call at a youth workshop in Bauchi aimed at promoting ethical conduct and responsible leadership.
She described young people as future leaders and role models, emphasising the need for focus and discipline to enable them make positive contributions to Nigeria’s growth and stability.
Hajiya Bilkisu Sambo explained that the workshop also aims to nurture ethical leaders capable of driving national development through strong moral foundations, accountability and commitment to collective progress.
Co-founder of the centre, Rashida Ibrahim Yusuf who urged participants to uphold honesty and discipline, stressed the need for restoring Nigeria’s lost glory through responsible youth engagement.
Paper presenters at the event, highlighted ethical values as essential for youth development, while participants expressed satisfaction, noting the workshop broadened their understanding of leadership and strengthened their resolve to serve society.
