Warinje Football Club has commenced a major restructuring exercise ahead of the new football season, announcing the dissolution of its technical crew and key administrative officials as part of efforts to reposition the club for improved performance.
In a statement issued on Thursday and signed by the Club Chairman, Musa Abdullahi Mai-Auguda, the club confirmed the immediate removal of Technical Director Abdullahi Adamu and Team Manager Bala Garba from their positions. The board also dissolved the entire technical crew and other backroom staff following a review of the club’s operations and future direction.
To ensure continuity, Saidu Abdullahi, popularly known as Coach Yellow, has been appointed Interim Head Coach. He will oversee the team’s training sessions and pre-season preparations pending the appointment of a substantive technical crew.
The club has directed all Bauchi-based players to report for training with immediate effect as preparations begin for the forthcoming campaign.
As part of the restructuring, all former officials have been instructed to return club property in their possession to Rabiu Abdullahi (Rangers). The board also introduced a new communication protocol, directing that all official correspondence must be issued on the club’s new letterhead and signed only by the Chief Executive Officer or the Chairman/General Manager.
The statement added that new technical and administrative officials will be unveiled in due course as the club enters the next phase of its rebuilding process.
The board expressed appreciation to the outgoing officials for their commitment and contributions to the club, wishing them success in their future endeavours while noting that they remain valued members of the Warinje FC family.
The restructuring underscores Warinje FC’s resolve to strengthen its organisational and technical structure as it prepares for the new football season.
