The Senator representing Bauchi Central Senatorial District, Abdul Ahmed Ningi has innuagurated two rural road constructions as part of effort to provide infrastructural development to the grassroot level.
Radio Nigeria Globe FM Bauchi reports that the roads were part of the Senator’s Constituency Project.
They are the 111 kilometer Ningi-Burra road and a 4.5 kilometer Nasaru-Tudun Wada-Dallaji road linking Warji Local Government Area of Bauchi State.
Senator Abdul Ningi described the two rural roads connectivity as a critical to the development of the constituency.
He mentioned some of the road rehabilitation and construction facilitated by him within his three years in the Senate to include Ningi-Tiffi bridge, Misau-Kafin Sule road, Dambam-Zaura, Soro-Gungura, Darazo-Tauya road among others.
The Federal law-maker who challenged other politicians from the two benefiting communities especially those who were absent at the occasion to see politics as a tool for delivering socio-economic development to the people, advised them to shun partisanship.
In their separate remarks, the Chairman African Democratic Congress, ADC Ningi Local Government, Muhammad Makanike and a stakeholder from Warji LGA Alhaji Umaru Algon said the roads had posed serious set-back on the lives of people of the areas, promising to mobilise constituents to re-elect the Senator in the 2027 general election.
On his part, the General Manager of the construction company, Haissam El-Khoury who explained that a substantial amount has been released for the commencement of the project, promising to deliver a qualitative work in line with the agreed specifications and within the time frame.
