The Bauchi State Government has paid another Batch of gratuity to retired State and Local Government civil servants to ease their suffering.

Presenting the cheques to the beneficiaries, Executive  Secretary, Bauchi State Pension contributory Commission Alhaji Ibrahim Inuwa said the payment exercise covered those who retired in April twenty thirteen as well as in July twenty twelve.

Alhaji Ibrahim Inuwa pointed out that the disbursement is part of Governor Bala Mohammed led administration’s commitment to clear the outstanding benefits to the retired civil servants across the State.

He appreciated the beneficiaries for their patient and tolerant while strictly adhering to the laid down rules through out the period.

In a remark, chairman Nigerian Union of pensioners Bauchi State Chapter Alhaji Abdullahi Alhassan welcomed the idea of first come first served introduced by the Commission,noting that the move has started yielding positive results.

Some of the beneficiaries spoken to Radio Nigeria Globe fm Bauchi Yusuf Dare and Malam Ibrahim Wakili expressed happiness for collecting their benefits and commended the commission for the payment.
