The Bauchi State Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, NIPR, has joined counterparts across Nigeria in a road walk to create awareness ahead of the World Public Relations Forum.

The World Public Relations Forum, WPRF, is scheduled to hold from fifteenth to twenty-first November, twenty twenty-six, in Abuja, marking the first edition in Nigeria and second in Africa.

The road walk, which began at the early hours of today, involved dozens of fellows, associates and students of NIPR, who moved from Bauchi Emirs Drive to the Government House.

Addressing participants, Chairman of the NIPR Bauchi State Chapter, Rabi’u Mohammed Wada, said the exercise was organised to create awareness and encourage registration for the forthcoming forum.

Also speaking, a fellow of the institute and Chairman, Board of Directors, Bauchi State Broadcasting Corporation Alhaji Inuwa Bello, commended members for their participation and described the exercise as significant.

The road show, with the theme “Responsible Communication: The Voice of the World,” also attracted the North-East Zonal Director of FRCN and heads of media organisations across Bauchi State.
