The Bauchi State Government has approved the reconstitution of the Interim Management Committee and Technical Crew of Wikki Tourists Football Club.
The decision followed a proposal submitted to the state government by the club’s Interim Sole Administrator, Alhaji Haruna Bako.
Under the new arrangement, the Interim Management Committee comprises Umar Sa’idu, Ahmad Azare, Muhammad Jingi and Yahaya Abdulkarim, with Isa Garba Ningi as Chief Adviser.
The newly constituted Technical and Operational team includes Bala Muhammad Abubakar as Technical Adviser, Aminu Dalhatu Umar as Team Coordinator and Yakubu Yankari as Team Manager.
Others are retired Deputy Superintendent of Police Musa Musari, as Security Coordinator, Mr Jacob Onu as Chief Club Marketer and Abdulrahman Muhammad.
A statement issued by the club’s Media Unit, says the appointments take immediate effect, noting that the reconstitution is aimed at strengthening the administrative, technical, security and commercial structures of the Club.
The step is expected to provide a more coordinated management framework as the club prepares for its forthcoming football engagements and seeks to improve overall competitiveness and organisational efficiency.
