Stakeholders under the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) in Ganjuwa Local Government Area of Bauchi State have commenced polling unit-by-polling unit mobilisation to seek voters’ support for the party and its candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.
This followed a directive by the Party’s National Leader and Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, mandating party stakeholders across the twenty local government areas of the state to establish twenty-five-member committees in their respective wards and mobilise voters at each polling unit.
Addressing supporters at the formal launch of the mobilisation at Kariya A Ward, the Chairman of APM Stakeholders Ganjuwa LGA, Senator Bala Kariya, appealed to the people to support and vote all APM candidates from Presidential down to State Assembly in the 2027 general elections.
Senator Kariya urged the people to reciprocate what he described as the developmental strides of the Bala Mohammed led administration, particularly in road construction, healthcare, education, grassroots empowerment, and the creation of new emirates and districts.
He further called on residents of Kariya Ward to embrace APM as their political platform, assuring them that the mobilisation committee would visit all polling units to engage directly with voters and encourage them to support the party’s candidates.
The mandate of the committees are to engage residents, seek support for APM candidates and seek forgiveness from party members and the people who may have felt offended by the actions of the government, elected officials or other party stakeholders.
Former Ganjuwa Local Government Chairman, Alhaji Dayyabu Kariya, who commended Governor Bala Mohammed for the initiative, urged the people to support APM, citing Senator Kariya’s contributions to the development of the area.
On his part, the Chairman APM Stakeholders at Kariya A Ward, Alhaji Kawu, said the committee is mandated to visit all thirty polling units under the ward towards achieving the objectives of the exercise.
The mobilisation exercise is to be expanded as the party intensifies its grassroots campaign across Ganjuwa Local Government Area and the state at large ahead of the 2027 general elections.
