The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, NAHCON, has released the approved fares for the 2026 Hajj season.

Chairman of the Commission, Professor Abdullahi Sale Usman, said after consultations with stakeholders and the approval of the Federal Government, pilgrims from the Maiduguri–Yola Zone, covering Yobe, Borno, Adamawa, and Taraba States, will pay ₦8,118,333.67.

Pilgrims from other Northern States are to pay ₦8,244,813.67, while those from Southern States will pay ₦8,561,013.67.

The Chairman noted that the new fare is about two hundred thousand naira less than last year’s.

Meanwhile, a NAHCON delegation in Saudi Arabia has signed agreements with the 2026 Hajj service provider, Mashareeq Al-Zahabiyya, and the transportation company, Daleel Al-Ma’aleem.

Professor Abdullahi urged all intending pilgrims to complete their payments before December 31, 2025.
