People’s Redemption Party, PRP Bauchi State chapter says it has continued to attract support from residents and political stakeholders, alongside defections from other political parties across the state.
A statement by the party’s Publicity Secretary, Abubakar Isah Sulaiman, made available to journalists in Bauchi, expresses gratitude to Almighty Allah that the party is gaining growing acceptance and people’s the confidence in its leadership.
The statement acknowledges the defection of prominent political figures, stakeholders and supporters from various political parties, particularly the All Progressives Congress, as part of efforts to strengthen its political base.
It notes that the increasing endorsements and defections demonstrate growing public confidence in its vision for good governance ahead of the 2027 general election.
The PRP welcomed its new members and supporters, assuring them of equal treatment, fairness and opportunities to contribute meaningfully towards the development of Bauchi State and Nigeria at large.
It pledges to uphold integrity, accountability and transparency, while remaining committed to promoting the welfare of ordinary citizens across the state.
The party called on the people of Bauchi State to support its candidates candidates who emerged from its recent primary elections, particularly the gubernatorial candidate Shehu Buba Umar, describing him as possessing the experience and leadership qualities required to advance the state’s development.
