Bauchi Govt Urged to Immortalise Late President, Nigeria Referees Association.

The Bauchi State Government has been urged to immortalise the late President of the Nigeria Referees Association (NRA), Zubairu Sani Gwabba, by naming a sports facility after him.
The call was made by the Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Bauchi State Council, Comrade Umar Sa’idu, during a condolence visit to the family of the deceased in Bauchi.
Comrade Sa’idu described the late NRA president as a dedicated patriot who devoted his life to the development of the sports industry in Nigeria.
He noted that honouring Gwabba with a public facility would serve as recognition of his contributions and inspire future generations.
He also prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive the deceased and grant him Aljannatul Firdaus as his final abode.
The NUJ chairman further advised the children of the late Gwabba to uphold their father’s legacy by remaining united and committed to good values.
Responding on behalf of the family, Bello Umar expressed appreciation to the NUJ Bauchi State Council for the visit and prayers, asking Allah to reward them abundantly.
