The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria NAHCON has fixed 8th October 2025 as the deadline for State Muslim Pilgrims’ Welfare Boards, Agencies, Commissions and licensed Hajj Tour Operators to remit Hajj fares for the 2026 exercise.

This was contained in a statement by the Deputy Director of Information and Public Relations, Fatima Sanda Usara.

The statement says NAHCON Chairman Professor Abdullahi Saleh Usman along with some Commissioners and the Secretary of the Commission travel to Saudi Arabia to finalize agreements with service providers ahead of the 2026 Hajj exercise.

The trip follows the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah’s timetable, which set 23rd and 24th September for contracting essential services and 12th October as the deadline for pilgrims’ registration on the Nusuk platform.

NAHCON is urging all stakeholders to comply with the deadlines to ensure smooth arrangements and a successful pilgrimage for Nigerian pilgrims.
