Stakeholders from BAKESO States advocate strict adherence to seventeen behavioral changes on anti natal care, tuberculosis, exclusive breast feeding and nutrition.
The breakthrough Action Nigeria in collaboration with USAID
They made the call during a visual meeting to enlighten and create awareness on health challenges in the champion state.
The meeting has in attendance the senior Programme Officer II USAID Mukhtar Gaya and the Co-Chairs of Bauchi, Kebbi and Sokoto states where the project is being implemented.
In a remark the co-Chairman of Bauchi State Khadi Abdullahi Yakubu Marafa applauded religious and civil society organization for their sensitization campaigns on health challenges that affect women and children.
Abdullahi Yakubu Marafa urged men to allow their wives to always go for anti natal care.
Also speaking the Co-Chairman of Sokoto State Social Behaviour Change Alhaji Aminu Abdullahi commended religious and traditional rulers for championing the campaign.
